The Iranian Foreign Ministry has announced that Tehran will respond with firmness following a military strike on a residential property in Sirik County, which Iranian officials identified as the site of a wedding ceremony. Esmaeil Baqaei, the spokesman for the ministry, confirmed on X that the attack resulted in more than 50 casualties, including men, women, and children who were either killed or injured.

Baqaei characterized this incident as part of a broader series of military actions affecting locations such as Minab, Lamerd, and Qeshm. He further remarked that the history of United States actions against the Iranian nation is now complete. The spokesman also directed sharp criticism toward international institutions and foreign governments that have remained silent or attempted to justify the military strikes. He warned that such silence does not equate to neutrality and cautioned that those who remain silent will not be immune to the future consequences of their stance.

The United States military’s Central Command, known as CENTCOM, had previously announced the launch of attacks against targets belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) within Iran. Following this announcement, Iranian media outlets reported that loud explosions were heard in Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, Sirik, Konarak, and Chabahar. Additionally, Iranian state television reported that Jiroft Airport in Kerman Province had been targeted.

Ahmad Nafisi, the deputy governor of Hormozgan Province, stated that initial assessments indicated at least four people were killed and 50 others injured when the alleged US strike hit the wedding gathering.
