Ukrainian forces executed a massive overnight aerial operation, firing more than 1,000 drones at targets across Russia. Additionally, Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv regional state administration, reported that a Russian attack on the Ukrainian capital killed a mother and two children on Saturday evening, with a third child later dying in the hospital on Sunday.
Amid the ongoing hostilities, President Zelenskyy announced that he and Donald Trump spoke on Sunday and have agreed to meet in New York. Zelenskyy noted that the meeting carries significant potential, citing "diplomatic momentum" and the development of ideas regarding de-escalation, energy security, food security, and the protection of human life.
