An Israeli airstrike struck an apartment building in Gaza City early Saturday, killing at least five Palestinians and leaving several others seriously injured. According to health and civil defense officials, flames engulfed the residential building following the attack, which occurred as Israeli military drones circled overhead.

The apartment strike followed separate attacks across other parts of the Gaza Strip that killed three Palestinians and wounded four others, including a child. Among the victims was Ibrahim Abu Uwaimer, who was killed in an Israeli drone strike targeting the courtyard of a home behind the Al-Razi Medical Complex in the Nuseirat refugee camp. Medical sources confirmed that his body was transported to Al-Awda Hospital in the central Gaza camp.

In another incident, Ahmed al-Ramlawi was killed in an airstrike that hit a tent pitched on the rooftop of a residence near Palestine Stadium, located west of Gaza City. Southwest of the city, near the Ansar junction, another Israeli strike targeted a gathering of people, killing Ibrahim Munir al-Masri and injuring another Palestinian.

Meanwhile, military operations continued in southern Gaza, where gunfire injured three Palestinians, including a girl and an elderly woman. The injuries occurred along Street 5 in the Al-Mawasi area and near Hamad City, northwest of Khan Younis. Witnesses reported that Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire on residential neighborhoods and tents housing displaced families in the northern, eastern, and southern parts of Khan Younis. Israeli warships also fired toward the Khan Younis coastline.

In eastern Gaza City, the Israeli military carried out a large-scale demolition campaign, leveling homes and buildings in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood. Additionally, warplanes launched at least two strikes on evacuated buildings east of Al-Tuffah and Shujaiya, though no casualties were reported from those specific strikes. In central Gaza, Israeli artillery shelled eastern areas of Deir al-Balah and the Al-Maghazi refugee camp, accompanied by gunfire in the surrounding areas.

According to Gaza's Health Ministry, violations of the ceasefire agreement have resulted in the deaths of 1,439 Palestinians and wounded 5,052 others. Since October 8, 2023, the conflict has claimed the lives of more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured over 175,000 in Gaza, while approximately 90 percent of the enclave's infrastructure has been destroyed.
