Israeli military operations across Gaza have resulted in the deaths of four Palestinians and left 19 others wounded, according to medical officials who noted the casualties occurred amidst ongoing violations of the established ceasefire agreement. In the central region, an Israeli air strike hit a vehicle in the Al-Hawouz area, located south of Deir al-Balah, which killed one Palestinian and left 10 others injured. A separate strike in the al-Mawasi district, west of Khan Younis, targeted a group of civilians north of Hamad City and resulted in another fatality.
Further north, four civilians were wounded during an air strike on an assembly of people. Additionally, five individuals were injured—one of whom is in critical condition—following Israeli artillery shelling near the Engineers Syndicate headquarters in north-western Gaza City. Direct gunfire also contributed to the rising casualty count; Israeli troops killed a Palestinian near Al-Yemen Al-Saeed Hospital in the northern part of the territory. Furthermore, a six-year-old girl died from injuries sustained days earlier when Israeli gunfire struck her family's displacement tent in Wadi al-Salqa, south of Deir al-Balah.
Witnesses reported extensive military activity on Sunday, including Israeli artillery fire directed at the eastern sectors of the Al-Maghazi refugee camp and southern Khan Younis. Ground forces utilized armoured vehicles to open fire toward northern Beit Lahia and eastern and southern Khan Younis, while naval warships shelled the coastlines off Rafah and Gaza City. Simultaneously, Israeli ground units engaged in widespread demolition of residential buildings and infrastructure throughout eastern Gaza City. Official data indicates that since the conflict began in October 2023, more than 74,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 175,000 wounded, with approximately 90 percent of the enclave's infrastructure destroyed. As of Saturday, ceasefire violations specifically have accounted for at least 1,445 deaths and 5,072 injuries.
