Juventus chief executive Giovanni Carnevali has confirmed that the club is on the verge of securing a permanent deal for forward Randal Kolo Muani, marking a significant step in his first summer transfer window at the helm of the Italian giants.

Speaking at a La Stampa event, Carnevali revealed that the Bianconeri's long-running pursuit of the French attacker is finally nearing a successful conclusion. The CEO's remarks signal that the final details of the transfer are being resolved to bring Kolo Muani to Turin permanently.

In addition to Kolo Muani, Carnevali provided an update on the club's interest in Kerim Alajbegović. The highly-rated Bosnian winger, who drew attention with his performances at the World Cup, remains a key target for Juventus, though a deal is not yet finalized. "With him we’re a bit further behind, but we’re working on it," Carnevali explained, highlighting the long-term vision of the club. "It’s a significant investment, but a club like Juve also has to think about the future. He’s a class-of-2007 and has the characteristics we’re looking for."

Carnevali was also questioned about the situation surrounding Dušan Vlahović, whose future with Juventus has been the subject of intense media speculation. The chief executive was quick to clarify his position, emphasizing that he has not played any part in any ongoing stand-off regarding the Serbian striker. With the deal for Kolo Muani close to completion and negotiations for Alajbegović still active, Carnevali is quickly shaping his transfer strategy for the upcoming season.
